As tourism really took off in Oman in the early 21st century, The Chedi was the first of a wave of new, luxury hotels and remains one of the most sophisticated and stylishly designed hotel in the country. Low-rise buildings house clusters of large, Arabian influenced and very comfortable rooms, whilst pathways wend between the traditionally-styled buildings, amidst the beautiful gardens and down to one of the three pools or the beach. Dining is either a fine and formal affair at The Restaurant, or tasty and more casual at one of the cafés or lounges by the pools and beach. The Chedi is definitely one for those who love a bit of style and the finer things in life.
