Dramatic mountainscapes, white-sand beaches, arching sand dunes, burrowing turtles and leaping dolphins are all common sights in Oman and this holiday aims to bring them altogether for you. The convenient thing about this array of wildlife and natural wonder is that it’s all relatively close together; you don’t have to drive more than a handful of hours between places to experience something new.

The history of the country is not forgotten either, as you take dramatic mountain roads to visit ancient villages and imposing forts. Add this to the very friendly and chatty nature of the locals (the vast majority of which speak a good level of English if your Arabic is not up to scratch!) and you have an all-encompassing Omani experience.

3 nights Muscat – 2 nights Nizwa and the mountains – 1 night Wahiba Sands – 1 night Sur and Ras al-Jinz – 1 night Muscat
