Spend three nights in one of our preferred hotels in Nizwa / Jebel Shams region.

Day 6
The focus today is on the imposing forts and towns of the interior. Try to be here on a Friday for the livestock auction at Nizwa souq, in the shadow of the vast fort, and head out to Jabreen fort, famous for its painted ceilings, stopping on the way to admire the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bahla fort.
Day 7

Day 12
You'll be met for a private transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.

Everything we do is tailor-made; our itineraries are just suggestions to give you an idea of what is possible. Please contact us so we can tailor the perfect holiday exclusively for you.

Musandam, the geographic oddity thrust into the Strait of Hormuz, an enclave of Omani territory surrounded by the UAE, is a place of steep mountains, remote villages and sinuous fjords, unlike anywhere else in Oman. The 21st century intrudes only in the guise of luxury beach retreats, and after exploring some of the rest of the country, Musandam is the perfect way to cap off your Omani adventure.

If you want to save yourself an extra domestic flight in the country it’s also possible to finish this itinerary up in Dubai, as you can cross into the UAE by land in just a few hours from Musandam’s main town, Khasab.

3 nights Muscat – 3 nights Nizwa and the mountains – 1 night Muscat – 4 nights Musandam Peninsula
