Dubai really packs a punch for visitors and its not difficult to see why it is nicknamed the City of Superlatives: it is home to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa; the world’s largest shopping centre, Dubai Mall; the world’s largest performing fountain, Dubai Fountain; and what many consider to be the world’s first seven-star hotel, the sail-shaped Burj Al Arab.

The city has come a long way since its discovery of oil in the sixties; in fact the skyline is now completely unrecognisable compared to its former glory. You will now find a vibrant city scattered with luxury hotels, glitzy cocktail bars, world-renowned restaurants, family-friendly attractions, excursions out into the desert, and unique architecture.

We feel that Dubai can be enjoyed on its own as a relaxing beach stay or short city break, thanks to its relatively short flight time, or as part of a multi-centre holiday when combined with Oman, Sri Lanka, the Maldives or a destination in South East Asia like Vietnam.
