Al Waha translates as “The Oasis” and the name is justified by the multiple swimming pools, fringed with palms, which are at the heart of the hotel. The pools and the exciting access via a tunnel through a mountainside, make this an exciting retreat for families, and the whole hotel has been set up to cater for parents and their children. Rooms are elegantly furnished with nods to Arabian design and all have patios or balconies looking towards the sea. As well as the child-friendly restaurant and the flamboyant Samba restaurant, guests can use the general resort beach and the restaurants, facilities and pools at the Al Bandar hotel as well.
